It is used in the last 21 days of pregnancy in cows. It helps to create the anion-cation balance of the ration. Supports prevention of ketosis with clinical, subclinical hypocalcemia that may occur after birth. Diets designed for dry cows in the weeks before calving should have negative DCAD. Hypocalcemia can also cause ketosis, placental failure, metritis, abomasum displacement, and mastitis. It is seen that cows fed with negative cation-anion balance in the dry period do not show risk of milk fever, have an increase in milk yield, have less metabolic problems and have a significant improvement in reproductive performance. BETRA ANION 21 helps to protect against metabolic problems, especially against disturbances of the anion-cation balance of the ration in DCAD balance and hypocalcemia distress.
